Hi Friends! Special announcement for this coming Sabbath below...
Now more than ever, God’s people will be effective in doing the will of God in direct proportion to the time they spend in His presence. In a time of great social upheaval, rising hatred, wars, and natural disasters, we cannot afford to be disconnected from God nor lacking in the power of the Holy Spirit. On Sabbath, January 4, Dwain N. Esmond, associate director of the Ellen G. White Estate, will call churches across Pennsylvania Back to the Altar, where we are transformed and renewed for God’s mission during each church’s worship service.
Meeting Times for Each Church:
Lowville Church - 9:15 am (John Love speaking)
Erie Church - 9:30 am (Sabbath School), 11:00 am (Video with Dwain N. Esmond)
Seneca Church - 1:00 pm (Sabbath School), 2:00 pm (Video with Dwain N. Esmond)
We’ll also have a week of prayer starting that Sabbath evening as well. The prayer sessions will start with the Columbia Union prayer gathering on Zoom at 4 pm and then resume at 7:00 each morning and evening on Zoom for our district up until January 11. Materials for this week are available at paconference.org/pray and unite to pray in one accord with members around the world. (Resources are available in both English and Spanish. For other languages, go to tendaysofprayer.org.)
At 4:00 p.m., churches across the Columbia Union will gather via Zoom for an afternoon prayer rally. We are starting 2025 with a commitment to pray, worship, and share the gospel. Throughout the year, the Columbia Union Conference will pray and prepare for Pentecost 2025 with special events, prayer times, training, and monthly prayer focuses.
